Honest awards, on purpose.
Here's every guard we put between the ballot and anyone trying to game it. Nothing is hidden, and nothing is for sale.
Phone verification
Every voter verifies a mobile number with a one-time text code. We store a scrambled fingerprint of the number, never the number itself.
One vote per category per day
Enforced by the database itself, on Central time. Come back tomorrow and vote again.
Code limits
3 codes per number every 15 minutes, 10 per network per hour, 5 tries per code.
Vote speed limits
15 votes per voter per minute, 150 per network per hour. Bots get bored fast.
Shuffled ballots
Nominee order is randomized on every load. Nothing a business buys changes placement.
Fraud watch
We watch votes per network and can quarantine a suspicious network, which removes its votes.
